Our Team.
At Venture Mortgages, we believe the process should be simple, not stressful. By working with us you can expect innovative thinking, creative solutions, and a genuine focus on making your journey easy, that's the standard we hold ourselves to.
We don't stop watching after your mortgage closes. We monitor it behind the scenes for the life of the loan, so you're always in the best position possible.
Meet Taylor.
Founder, Mortgage Broker, Real Estate Investor
After living abroad for over a decade, I moved back to beautiful BC to focus on my family and build a life with more freedom and time for my kids. That focus led me to build my own real estate portfolio — I currently hold 70+ rental properties, and along the way I've been a first-time homeowner, joint venture partner, syndicator, and done vendor take-backs. That range means I can relate to almost any hurdle you'll hit in your own real estate journey. I'm solution-obsessed and believe every mortgage is fundable — my mission is to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.
Outside the office, you'll find me on the ski slopes, mountaineering, or playing pretty much any sport. After traveling to 80-some countries, I've come to really appreciate what BC has to offer.

Meet Cat.
Partner, Mortgage Broker
Originally from the prairies, I came out West in 2021 for a three-month trip to learn how to snowboard. Over five years later, I'm still here, and the Okanagan has completely won me over.
Since then, I've worked on hundreds of mortgages across BC and Alberta. That volume means I've seen just about every twist a file can take, and I know how to keep yours moving toward the finish line.
My background is actually in tech. I studied Computer Science at UBCO, and I now spend a lot of my time building AI and automation tools that make the mortgage process faster. For you, that means a smoother process and more time to focus on your next move.
Outside the office, you'll find me hiking with my dog Hudson, on my yoga mat, playing volleyball or deep in a DIY creative project. I find real joy in slow living, and I bring that same patience and care to every client I work with.
